Congressional Candidate Kathleen Williams (MT-AL) Raises Over $380,000 In Third Quarter

Nearly 80% of Contributions Came From Montanans

BOZEMAN, MT — Kathleen Williams, Democratic candidate for Montana’s at-large open Congressional seat, will report raising over $380,000 in the third quarter of 2019 her campaign announced today. The campaign has about $627,485 on hand.

“I’m honored that Montanans have continued to put their faith in my vision for a more responsive, effective representative who will put Montana before special interests,” Kathleen said. “It’s past time that this state had a Congresswoman who has a proven record of fighting for more affordable healthcare, fostering opportunity for all Montanans and protecting our outdoor heritage.”

Kathleen has now raised over $800,000 this cycle. In the third quarter, the campaign received just under 4,000 contributions, 78% of which came from Montanans. 90% of contributions were for $100 or less.

In addition to strong fundraising numbers, Kathleen recently announced the endorsement of seven current or former Montana elected officials, the campaign finance reform group End Citizens United and EMILY’s List. Montana’s at-large Congressional race has also been placed on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s Battleground Map.

Kathleen Williams has been called the “candidate Montana has been waiting for.” A three-term legislator with a 36-year career solving tough issues and getting results, she is a proven champion true to Montana—hard-working, independent, and honest. In Congress, she’ll stand up to special interests and partisan gridlock, and work just as hard for Montanans as they do every day.
