BOZEMAN, MT — Today, Kathleen Williams for Montana released the campaign’s first TV and radio ads of the 2020 cycle. The television ad “Playbook” is set to run in the Billings, Missoula, Helena, Butte-Bozeman, and Great Falls media markets. The radio ad “Problem Solver” will run on the Northern Ag Network.

“Kathleen is a hunter, angler, and leader who isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves and chart her own course in Congress,” said Jeff Allen, campaign manager for Kathleen Williams for Montana. “Whether it’s standing up to special interests, cutting taxes for small businesses, or fighting for our veterans, Montanans can count on Kathleen to be the true, independent representative they deserve.”

The radio ad features Jeff Bangs, a rancher from Inverness, talking about Kathleen’s commitment to Montana’s farmers and ranchers. Kathleen has spent much of her career working with farmers and ranchers – protecting water rights, and helping them diversify incomes and stay on their land.

“My great-grandmother started our family farm along the hi-line more than a century ago,” Bangs says to begin the radio ad. “Four generations later, I’m proud to be running it. And I finally feel like we have a candidate for Congress who understands the challenges we’re facing out here. Kathleen Williams is the real deal. She knows our issues, and she’s actually committed to solving them.”

Kathleen Williams has been called the “candidate Montana has been waiting for.” A three-term legislator with a nearly four-decade career solving tough issues and getting results, she is true to Montana—hard-working, independent, and honest. In Congress, she’ll stand up to special interests and partisan gridlock, and work just as hard for Montanans as they do every day.
